My Massively Transformative Purpose (MTP) is to innovate solutions to use resources sustainably to allow both human culture and Earth's ecosystems to thrive.
Pathways:
Maximize the useful work extracted from the transformation of energy as it inevitably declines into higher states of entropy and, ultimately, equilibrium.
Design scalable solutions for sustainable energy conversion, use, and storage.
Design solutions to the "tragedy of the commons" problem.
Bring atmospheric particulates, carbon dioxide, and other greenhouse gas concentrations down to pre-industrial levels.
Provide access to clean fresh water for humanity.
Reduce anthropogenic pollution of the land, water, and air.
